A Visit to Sam Maloof's Home

 On Saturday November 27 we had a tour of the Sam Maloof home and compound. The property is located at the top of Carnelian. Sam Maloof was a 20th century woodworker. He was born in Onterio and lived much of his adult life in Rancho Cucamonga.  He lived from 1916 to 2008.  He is known for his furniture and his style of joinery.  I was fortunate to have met him in the late 90's early 00's.

Spirit Week Friday

 

Garden Remodel Complete and Winter Garden Planted

 The students have been working all quarter on the completion of the raised planters. The last planter was completed on Wednesday. This included the irrigation lines and a cover to keep the chickens out. The students also placed bark in the walkways.

The Succulent plants that were cut from my friends Lee's home in LA were planted on Thursday 11-18-21
