Baby Chicks about to go Outside / Power Outage due to Wind Event / Incubation

The baby chicks that hatched on Jan 4 are about ready to head outside.

Update - Jan 4 chicks go outside on Friday, Jan 20, just in time for the wind event.  All survived. Note, the power went out around 10:30 PM on Friday and did not come back on until 3:30 PM Saturday.

Note: The chicks in the incubator scheduled hatch is Jan 28 were picked up Saturday morning and taken to Mr. Connor's home, which had power. The temperature of the incubator had gotten down to 68 degrees. Normally during incubation, the eggs are held at a constant 99-100 degrees, with very little fluctuation.  We will see how this turns out.
